All 17 cities in the National Capital Region (NCR) are now at moderate risk for COVID-19 as the region’s reproduction number further decreased to 0.60, OCTA Research said Thursday.
“The NCR and all seventeen constituent LGUs were classified as moderate risk using our metrics,” the group said in its latest report.
Meanwhile, the seven-day average in new cases in the region dropped to 1,847 or 30% lower than the previous week’s number.
The positivity rate, on the other hand, was recorded at 11% while the healthcare utilization rate went down to 79%. NCR also has an average daily attack rate of 13.05 per 100,000.
Based on OCTA’s report, San Juan recorded the highest average daily attack rate (ADAR) with 28.68, followed by Mandaluyong with 21.25, Pateros with 20.23, Taguig with 20.05, and Marikina with 19.23.
